From communication bumps to feeding and airway challenges, we take a calm, thoughtful approach that actually works for busy parents. With advocacy calls and friendly, informative workshops, we’re here to guide you through the hard stuff with clarity, compassion, and zero judgement.
We’re here to help you beat analysis paralysis, and make a plan of action to get your child the support they need
If you’re going home and Googling nonstop, we promise there’s a better way. We’re here to explain, advocate + care.
Your intuition is an indicator. We’ll help you get to the root cause issues so you can finally get some answers.
Waiting is fun when you’re counting down to vacation, but when it comes to your child’s wellbeing, we’re on a mission.
Instead of being brushed off, we walk you through real possibilities, explain what might be going on underneath, and give you clear next steps. You’ll leave feeling informed, supported, and finally understood.
Imagine meals that feel calm instead of chaotic. We help you get to the root of feeding challenges—whether sensory, structural, or skill-based—so your child feels safe exploring food and you feel confident guiding them. Less stress, more bites, more connection.
With the right support in place, progress stops feeling like a guessing game. You get to see your child grow in ways that feel meaningful—communicating more, eating better, breathing easier—and you get to exhale knowing they’re finally on the right path.
Every child communicates differently, so we build therapy around what works best for them. Sessions are hands-on, playful, and grounded in strategies that actually stick. From speech sounds to language skills and more, we help your child feel confident and capable every step of the way.

Let us know what you’re looking for! whether you want to chat first or already know your child needs services. Share what you can, and we’ll start supporting your family right away.
After our initial call, or once we understand your needs (a screener, an evaluation, or jumping straight into therapy!) we’ll work with you to find a time that fits both our availability and your schedule.
After the initial evaluation—or after a continuation-of-care session—you’ll receive your child’s report and proposed goals in our system. Review everything at your convenience, and once approved, we’ll begin therapy as recommended (most commonly once a week for 30 minutes).
Take a peek at our process and what it’s like working with our team at Ripple Effect
Your speech therapy specialists
What started as a one woman show (plus a CVS attendant Kate befriended to use the restroom!) has grown into a small but mighty team of three with tons of experience and a shared mission: to make therapy feel personable and honest with a “friend next door” feel.
At Ripple Effect, you may work closely with one therapist, but you get the brainpower of all 3 us! We share ideas, problem-solve together, and advocate fiercely to not only help your child get the support they need, but you as well!

Tongue ties can create difficulties when speaking and swallowing, and can restrict tongue movement. See what a difference it makes when myofunctional therapy is paired with a tongue tie release.

We listen first, always. We’re here to get personal, not performative. We look deeper than surface level to find and fix root causes, and our whole-child approach sets your kiddo up for long term success. Let us partner with your family so progress actually sticks.
We had an amazing experience with Kate! She is so great with communication, and started meeting with my son very quickly after inquiring about her services. We saw so much progress in my son's speech after working with Kate for a year. She did a great job building rapport in sessions, and I appreciated how much education she incorporated for me as a parent.
Kate was absolutely fantastic to work with! She was recommended by a co-worker and I am so glad she was. Going into the appointment I was feeling very overwhelmed and lost about where to go and what to do, but Kate was so helpful. She explained and discussed so many things with me and made sure I left the appointment with next steps. She truly cares about the kiddos and them getting the support they need and it is evident! - Kim
We’ve got answers for you!
A screener is a quick and easy check to see if your child may need extra support. It’s short, looks at a few key skills, and helps answer the question, “Should we look into this more?” An evaluation, on the other hand, takes a deeper and more thorough look at how your child is doing. During an evaluation, we assess specific skills, talk with you, and observe your child. You’ll receive a full report with results and goals, which helps us determine what’s going on and what the best plan moving forward might be.
Frequently Asked Questions

For families who are out of network or paying out of pocket, one option is a “superbill,” which works like a detailed medical receipt. To create a superbill, we’ll need a referral from your child’s doctor and your insurance information. After each service—such as an evaluation or therapy session—you’ll receive a superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance plan for possible reimbursement. We always recommend calling your insurance provider to ask how they handle superbills and what they require for processing.

All therapy notes and documentation are stored in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, called Ensora. During the onboarding process, you’ll be invited to the portal to create a login and password. From there, you can complete all required paperwork and access your child’s records and documentation in one convenient place.
Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve got answers for you!
If your child receives therapy at school, you can stay up to date by logging into the EMR. Within about 24 hours of each session, you’ll see the service note, which includes “Take Home” recommendations for practice at home. In addition, once a month we send a “monthly update” that provides more detailed feedback on your child’s progress and specific suggestions for carryover at home.
Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve got answers for you!
There isn’t a set timeline for how long a child will need speech therapy, as it depends on each child’s individual needs, progress, and ability to use the targeted skills independently. We monitor all children on a six-month treatment plan, revisiting their progress every six months to provide updates and insights. While we can share progress along the way, it’s not possible to predict exactly how long therapy will be needed.
Frequently Asked Questions

We accept multiple types of payment- cash, check or card via Square. You’re able to pay with HSA/FSA funds as well. We are also an Educational Scholar Account (ESA) vendor and can happily invoice you for those payments as well. **For insurance families we require a credit card on file
Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve got answers for you!
If paying privately, invoices will be sent via Square following our completion of the documentation for that session (usually within 24 hours). If using insurance, we wait until an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is received to confirm amounts due and we then send you the invoice. **Invoices are due within 5 days of services or we reserve the right to charge a late fee
